I go 5-6x a week.
Just depends how my body is feeling, how I slept, etc.
I let my body guide me.

as a natty 2 or 3x a week is more than enough
youd be better off doing calisthenics and really high rep stuff at home

I go 5-6 days a week. Its an excuse to leave the house, also weather is chit and not much else to do.
If I'm not feeling the weights I just do cardio

I go 3 in a row, then 1 rest day. Been that way for years now. Comes out to 5.5 (sometimes 5, sometimes 6) gym days a week.
Exceptions are if I'm sick, somehow wake up way too late, on vacation, life gets in the way. Probably safer to say 5 days a week.
Every day of the week though, including rest days, I'll do 15x35lbs dumb bell curls for each arm, 30 pushups, 45 crunches. Just something I always do.

I lift 4 days and swim the other 3. As I train at home, it's much easier to fit it in every day.
Screw nature; my body will do what I DAMN WELL tell it to do!
