Was talking to a friend who works in Ireland, said the tech dept has gone from essentially 0->50% Indian over the past few years.

I know it's already insane in Canada and tech hubs in the US, but didn't realize Europe was in the same boat. Apparently the green card is out of reach in the US now, so new immigrants are aiming for english-speaking parts of Canada and Europe.

Indians are a bit better than Muslims at integrating, but not great either.

Yeah the smell of curry is awful but I preffer ****** instead of Muhammed who just immigrated to leech off the system and moan about Allah on the streets all day.

I think a lot of companies assume they can outsource or higher Indians for a lot of IT only to learn it can cost more than it saves due to misunderstandings and incompetence. A lot of the code and QA work ends up being useless or even costly to repair. Quality has a price.
