just beat super mario rpg, review, dont always bet on bloat
very solid game, never finished it when it initially released
great pacing, just pounding enemies and going to the next zone, no modern day rpg bloat fetch quests non sense
i did not 100% it but i did get the best weapon and gear for mario
enjoyable roster, each with their own abilities
hardest part was getting the 100 jumps in a row for the giga mario suit
great to experience a squaresoft turn based rpg again instead of the modern garb they put out
overall review score: 8.5

I'm playing through it now. I like that they more or less kept it 1:1 but hate how they made even the "Normal" difficulty easier. The game almost feels so easy that its not really fun and I'm just running on Nostalgia at this point.
