Anyone miss covid times? early 2020ish, empty

Was kinda cool, nobody was out doing anything. Empty roads, parking lots, stores... It was interesting, people were talking to each other a bit more. I remember talking to this random black dude outside of a store, offered him a cig. He was telling me that it was a bio-weapon from Iran. After our talk we both wanted to go into the store to get a bite to eat, but they literally wouldn't take in person orders. We had to call them despite being right outside the store and place the order. They were all inside wearing masks and staring at us.

One other thing I noticed is that nobody really talks about their experiences from that time, everyone seems to have forgotten about it or whatever.

Do I miss my income going from $400k to $250k and having to drive 45 minutes to go to the gym for about 6 months? No.

Looking back, it's not that Covid times were so horrible, I still generally did what I wanted. But the fact that I had my business fully operating on all cylinders without a ton of effort, and it turned into a giant nightmare overnight. Then they juiced interest rates so everything shot back, and it caused a lot more competition of unsophicticated but aggressive people, so it just became 3x the work for less pay.

The toilet paper/paper towel shortage. New Covid waves every other week. The variants. The vaccines. The arguments. Interesting times.

The toilet paper thing was retarded, I almost wonder if it was societal experimentation.

It was great for family time as many of us said we really bonded with our kids during that time. They were with their families instead of being with other kids.
