fuark yeah. I still remember the first time i heard them back in 2001, I was even going to get flame tattoos on my wrist when i turned 18 but my mum talked me out of it (glad she did now)

Never stopped listening to them and newer Mike Shinoda stuff.

Great gym music.

My all time favorite band. They were ahead of their time with the rock/rap collab, then using electronic music before dubstep really hit, actually trend setting “ahead of their time”.

And it was all super edgy stuff I identify with so that helps.


Everything that Chester, Chris, and Mike did was art. Not just LP but their other projects/bands as well.

Just last year, they released 2 songs from before Chester died: "Lost" and "Fighting Myself to Live." They were alright. I think "Crawlin" is their best song . After their 2nd album "Meteora," their music got a little hit-and-miss

I've heard, from people that met them, that Mike Shinoda is the only friendly guy in the group

They had a few good songs. Nothing too special.

Alice in Chains on the other hand is the GOAT. Live at the Moore might be the best rock performance in history. Layne’s voice was a whole nother level of power and gloom. He used chest voice the whole time too.
