Every piece of advertising I've seen for BG3 looks so dogchit. Saw some montage of a bunch of animals talking, could see why it'd be popular with Reddit ph@6s.

"The cat is talking down to me in a British accent! I love it!"

Also so a bunch of the voice actors going in-character on social media, was lame as fuark. The game looks boring, but then I always thought Dungeons and Dragons was boring as fuark.

Its deep bro. Nothing ever turns out the same. There's so many different ways you can go. Fail one persuasion check and you could turn a whole area hostile and have to fight your way out. Lose access to companions, vendors with good loot, quests. Important quest NPCs can just die in battle, you can murder them. The game doesn't care. It's incredibly well coded and robust. It wants you to challenge it.

I love RPGs but this does look pretty damn gringe and corny.doesnt look for me but i havent played it so i wont say anything else about it. Gotta say the table top turned based sounds bad and i miss turned based combat. Gotta admit i never thought id see bestiality to become considered normal lol

That sex scene caused a big uproar, but is by no means the reason people think the game is great. It's loved by almost everyone for a reason. Can always watch some reviews on YouTube for a better understanding.

I've personally never even seen that sex scene, but know it exists.

If you love CRPGs and similar games, you'll like this. Loved Dragon Age Origins? This has what you crave. Hated origins but loved 2? Maybe not.

im sure ill play this game eventually and in not saying its bad. Im just an old School JRPG guy. Actually just started a game in Dragon Age origins. It seems good but a lot to take in at the moment.could probably sink a couple hundred hours in these games easy

random black duke which makes no sense since black people didn't even have feudalism or castle
sloots are all ugly "diverse" characters to fit the strong female character trope
probably a bunch of other stuff

i've said it before but DoS/DoS2 was a much better game. just pirate BG3.
