I am generally ok with free speech, but I disapprove of speech that has zero intellectual value. If some dude just screams racial slurs with no other message, I don't care if he is censored.

being offensive and doing other things is clearly different, one can be funny and joking which most people do, but some things are just taken too far

Nah that's exactly how it is now and there is too much gray area. By that definition claiming "gender is the same as biological sex" could be and has been considered as hate speech. Freedom of speech doesn't mean freedom of consequences. But government and corporate censorship is the exact same thing now days and should be illegal.


Free speech. No speech should be censored unless it is illegal. In that case it should be prosecuted. Example would be CP or inciting violence.

Not really. It might be hateful, but at least it has nonzero information content. A claim is being made. It can easily be challenged by consulting the definitions of gender and biological sex. It's a stupid and hateful thing to say, but it at least has information content.
