What do the French think of Napoleon?

Any French Miscer here that can answer this, if not, what do other European miscers believe? I know the English are gonna have their bias.

Napoleon was emperor of France and conquered all of mainland Europe, it doesn't get any more alpha or high value than that. Yet his wife still cheated on him. Explain that one ken0, _sword, etc.
Never understood what he saw in a woman who was ten years older than him with two kids, but I think I read that she had political connections.
