Do you ever think about how lucky you are to have been born in the great USA? Even with all the problems our country is facing I still count myself lucky to be an American. We are less than 5% of the global population. Just imagine, you could’ve been born in some third world chithole. Or even (god forbid) Canada.

Cause there ain’t no doubt I love this land, god bless the USA!!!

It's pretty damn cool

People always talk about superficial nonsense like a sense of patriotism, freedom, and civic pride but that is all just nonsense.

The one sincere feeling I have about the US is simply gratitude. Knowing that literally MOST human beans live in slave like conditions in India and China does help provide relieving perspective here. It could be a lot worse.

Don’t get me wrong, the institution of the Cooperate States of America including the sold out government has gone off rails and is contributing to a decreased standard of living for its population, which needs to be addressed, but yeah, we have a little bit of extra money to buy shiny things so that is fun.


Honestly, I have been looking into a few different places with really low standard of living like Mexico or the Philippines to take my pension to just go live on a beach.
