How is vision insurance not a total scam?
Back before I got vision insurance:
$58 eye exam at Walmart
$73 glasses (frame + 1.67 high index lenses + AR coat)
$131 all in....and that's it!
Today that same set would run me $80 for exam, $100 for glasses for $180.
Vision insurance right now: $303 all in. Plus!!! Plus I pay for the insurance every damn week in my check @ $3.21 a week ($166.92). Total all in: $469.
Fukking lol. Getting rid of this chit next year.

Exactly what I listed. My wife got an exam for $80 2 years ago. I got one in 2018 for $58 without insurance.

Best lifts:
Bench press: 315x5
Squat: 465x1
Strict press: 205x5
Deadlift: 405x13 (conv tap'n'go with straps)

Vision "insurance" is typically not called insurance.
If you look at your plan it will probably not say insurance on official documents
Its a membership and you are basically buying discounts

You can just buy contacts from the UK without a prescription at all and its cheaper even without insurance
yeah agree vision insurance is a scam. Just go to costco to get your eyes checked every 2 years and order glasses online.
