1. Protestants
2. Catholics
3. Orthodox
And to make it more interesting:
4. Evangelicals
5. Mormons
6. Christians in the middle east
Pick a number and your thoughts (don’t bother answering all unless you feel like an essay)
Edit: apologies misc I meant to post this in R&P. I dun goofed. I’ll delete and repost if mods don’t move it themselves.

All man-made and wrong in their own way
I was raised catholic but now consider myself not
I just need my Bible and a quiet corner.
Catholicism is attractive I get it, but there is so much contradiction and nonsense that I could No longer continue.

I attend normal nondenominational church services. Sing a few songs, hear the day's message from the pastor and head home. The strange beliefs/proclivities from church sects do nothing for me. I give to the church to help fund community outreach, missions and prison ministry.

My family's Catholic, but that religion is horsechit. Lol at the "voice of Christ on Earth" having his own shadow government. Lol at paganism with all the saints and chit.
Protestantism makes a lot more sense. It's commercialized all to chit with Jesus rock and youth pastors and chit in America. I will give Catholicism credit, they usually don't stoop that low. But at least I don't have to suck the pope's dikk.
Mormonism is the most hilariously bullchit religion ever, but it is SWARMED with hot thin blonde virgin white women, so who am I to diss it.

There are nearly 30 thousand different types of Christianity. They all know they're the one true version.
When it comes your time to die, be not like those whose hearts are filled with the fear of death, so that when their time comes they weep and pray for a little more time to live their lives over again in a different way. Sing your death song and die like a hero going home.

Most of family is Catholic but my dad is an Atheist and I was raised without religion. That being said, I believe faith is important as it gives humanity structure and morals. I have attended church a fair number of times in the past year. I find Protestantism makes the most sense, but ultimately organized religion as a whole is a sham. Churches are essentially nothing more than big business running tax free, milking their parishioners to pay the pastor’s salary and maybe use what’s leftover to run poverty outreach programs in the community. It’s a lot of bullchit due to humanity’s greed.
As for different sects, the problem with Catholicism is that it full of corruptions and contradictions. How can the Pope be a representative of God on earth when he’s a man? Respectfully, fuk the Pope. Man is flawed. Many Popes have been literal p3dophiles. This one seems to be an activist pushing an agenda.
Why do so many Catholics worship idols? That’s strictly prohibited in Christianity, yet many literally pray to saints for guidance, almost polytheistic in approach. Totally wrong.
Also, how is it acceptable for man to confess his sins to a priest? Who gave the priest authority to forgive us for our sins? Again, he is a man. Repentance must be taken up with God directly. Believers are supposed to form a personal relationship with the lord through prayer. Not filter it through corrupt mortals.
On that topic, why are Catholics discouraged from reading the Bible themselves? They’re supposed to digest word delivered by the priest at mass. Well to me that’s indicative of an organization that wants to keep its followers dumb and obedient.
Protestants have better fundamentals. I am not educated enough on Eastern Orthodoxy or any other denominations to give an opinion. I have however been to an evangelical Black church before and found it entertaining. You “feel” something in the delivery, but they’re often the most corrupted with ex-pimps turned pastors hustling their followers. Mormons are nice people, but I can’t understand how anyone believes Joseph Smith JFL. It might be the most culty sect of them all.
