They really opened up a can of worms with this one. How long until the dems come out and say this is a threat to democracy?

Imagine my shock when a low IQ liberal kneejerk reaction gets used against them. Liberals literally cannot think five minutes past their TDS endorphin rush.

Colorado removes Trump from the ballot, asserting that he cannot run for POTUS "because he engaged in insurrection", and the14th Amendment forbidssuch a person from running for public election.

Missouri removes Biden from ballot because.....?

Was he convicted of insurrection? How about charged with insurrection?

Imagine for a moment that the Democrats and Republicans by and large only pretend to oppose each other, that in reality they are close allies and all beholden in private to special interests and/or organizations or foreign entities with blackmail material over them.

If any of that were remotely true, how is it that states being able to remove anyone from 1/3 to 1/2 of the ballots across the country is somehow a good thing?
All truth passes through three stages. First, it is ridiculed. Second, it is violently opposed. Third, it is accepted as being self-evident.

It was dumb af for Colorado to take trump off the ballot. What did they expect to be the reaction?

They talk about trump “undermining democracy”, well wtf is more anti-democratic than banning the political opposition?

Beat trump fair and square in an election, or stfu re-adjust your politic stances/platforms and try harder next time.

By design, It keeps some control of the process in the hands of the states.

Keep in mind that people are routinely found ineligible to appear on ballots. Just now that it involves the president everyone has an opinion.

Big difference between removing some random crazy guy who has statistically a snowballs chance in hell, and removing the ex president who by many accounts is the front runner to be the next president

Something like this should be concerning to any american regardless of who they would be voting for tbh.

Well, we should revisit the topic of secession. The first civil war was a result of the federal government being run by an authoritarian murderer that found the natural right of secession unacceptable. Hopefully more reasonable heads prevail this time. If the commies want to break off then just let them go.

Obviously there are differences, the process is more or less the same though. Being crazy with little chance of winning isn’t addressed in the constitution, it’s decided on a case by case basis.

It’s why the court is there.

And just fukking LOL at limiting this chit to the left. Guaranteed many of the same people screeching about Obama’s birth certificate are the same people taking the high road now.

The ballot shouldn't be more gatekept, it should be LESS. Should be way more than one dem and one republican on the ballot. Should represent the Independent party with a third choice, at the very least.

Trump shouldn't be removed from ballots if he is running. Biden shouldn't be removed from ballots if he is running. The fuark is this Banana Republic chit?

It's the democrat's latest strategy: allowing people to vote is a threat to democracy.
