Nothing pisses me off more at work than when someone drops a meeting on me
Some dumb bitch just put biweekly 1:1's on my calendar who is not my manager and who does not report to me. We don't need 1:1's every two weeks. We're like loosely involved with the same project right now. I really have nothing to talk about with her, certainly nothing to warrant 1:1's since we're in other team meetings together to give each other updates. It's just a massive f*cking waste of my time.
And I guarantee this dumb c*nt is gonna expect me to come to these meetings with topics to discuss. I will not. If she doesn't have questions I'm ending the meeting early. If we have 2 meetings in a row where she doesn't actually need to meet (which will probably be the first two meetings we have) I will be skipping them in the future.
Why do people set this sh*t up just to feel like they accomplished something? F*ck off already. Yes mad.

"One day I won't be able to lift any more. Not I won't want to lift. I mean physically unable. That day could be decades from now or it could be tomorrow. All I know is that's the day I'll wish I could lift more than ever. The day I'd give anything for one more workout, one more set, or one more cardio session. So go hard and enjoy every workout, every set, every rep. Because one day you will wake up and you will never get it back."

Can't tell you how much I rage when I see one come through. F*ck I'm raging right now. Dear diary....

It blows my mind how useless some people are or the incompetence they have to hyper focus on sh*t that truly does not matter.

Mine is random idiots pestering me for status and/or expedite requests on chit "This is super urgent...work stoppage...blah blah...". Go fuk yourself, I'm the one who actually has to do the "heavy lifting" to actually get chit done - so I hate having some worthless faygot on the sidelines (who I don't know what the fuk they actually do, but it can't be much) bothering me.

I really can't figure out if people are actually this stupid or if they're purposely trying to f*ck things up... that's how blatantly easy these decisions that need to be made are. Supposedly these are educated people I work with too... WTF? Mind blown.

people are VERY aware our timelines currently are on like a 2-4 week basis. Stop asking for an update every 3 days. I dont care if the customer is asking for an update, just make something up because that is all I am going to do.
blah blah blah it's being worked on, I'll do my best to prioritize this(hurr durr, when you prioritize EVERY project you've come full circle, derp)

Yeah I’d just decline that type of meeting invite, or just blow it off when it comes up.
People need to realize when meetings could instead be simple emails or phone calls. Nobody trying to sit in some conference room for 45 minutes while dumb asses enjoy the sound of their own voice

This assumes you actually do real work, and work at a quality company. Most people have completely fake jobs which produce no real value.

At the very least I have to pretend to care for the first few. After that I can cut them and at least fall back on saying I tried and they were simply unproductive.
By then I can say something like "Hey I've noticed there's not much to discuss in our 1:1's, would you be ok if we cancelled them and just met on as needed basis?" The reality is you have to soften the blow with these people or they feel hurt that you just outright ignored the initial request.

Assert dominance and just cancel it every week. I always just saw that chit as an excuse to have a blocker in my calendar as free time that noone else could book.

She is likely trying to fill up her Outlook calendar to seem really busy. If you're strapped for time ask her to send you a concise agenda and see what she says, lol
But I'm in a boat now where I am for the most part the only competent person in my department so I get asked to do a lot of basic **** like figure out why Excel isn't working right or why the printer won't connect to the network. Of course it has evolved into me being the person who does that **** now. Today some asswipe manager told me a couple people are out and we need to set up some shipment so he asked me to get it done. He is not my manager. I have never done that before. He hands me a binder with the whole procedure written out, and asks me to do it. You have the ficking documentation in your possession you worthless sack of shiit so do it yourself. I told him and my own manager I wouldn't do it and the other manager turned into a passive aggressive pissy bitchboy about it. I don't get it.

You should relay to her in your best "corporate speak" that these meetings should be emails. For example:
Dear, Dumb Bitch;
I appreciate the effort in scheduling our upcoming meeting, and I understand the importance of the topics to be discussed. After considering the agenda, I wanted to suggest that we might achieve our goals more efficiently through email updates.
The nature of the updates seems to be straightforward, and sharing the information in writing would allow everyone to review and reflect on the content at their own pace. This could save us valuable meeting time and ensure that each team member has the opportunity to provide thoughtful input.
Please let me know your thoughts on this, and if you believe a meeting is still the best approach, I am fully supportive.
Thank you for your understanding.
Regards,

Overtime that new work load becomes the new norm and not being able to complete that extra work (in which you're not getting paid extra for) will count as insubordination.

Mine is the "we need you to review this 300+ page document by tomorrow", sent at 5 the previous day.
Freedom of speech is a principle pillar of a free government; when this support is taken away, the constitution of a free society is dissolved and tyranny is erected on its ruins.
