Lady composer on NPR

Driving and listening to NPR, there’s a story about a lady composer of orchestral music who has created a “new” way of playing the violin, which is to play not on the actual portion of the strings which are meant to be played, but instead play on the small portion of the strings on the other side of the bridge.

Not only is there no real way to play the violin like this, but the violinists have trouble even seeing this portion of the strings.

A poor male violinist from Europe was interviewed and said that initially he was shocked and terrified when instructed to play his violin like this. Of course at the end he had to say how great the woman composer is.

It sounded horrible.

This is what wokeness gets us. Pretty soon we will be having tuba players doing rectal butt-play on each other and pianists playing the piano like drums by slapping their tits on it, or dancers doing bukakes in the middle of a ballet performance or something. Just you wait, it’s coming.

When I made this thread I had no idea she was black

I’m not surprised, I mean why would they do any story if it doesn’t have something to do with either Race or LGBT?

What's the problem? It sounds fine from the 30 seconds I listened to.

How'd you go from talking about some weird way to play the violin to tuba buttsecks? I used to listen to NPR even with the bias, but the slant became too much, TDS to the max.

She's an idiot. You can't assure that the tension is consistent there. Every time the violin is tuned it will change that section.
