Teenaged family friend just said I was “old school” for having a PlayStation 4

He is 13 turning 14 this year and when he saw my old dusty PS4 that I have and haven’t turned on since like 2018 (don’t even know if it still works) he thought it was “old school” and “classic” and “retro”…

I don’t consider any gaming console old school unless it’s like an Atari or Game Boy or something from way back years ago.

He saw I had NBA 2k15 with Kevin Durant on the picture of the case when he was on the OKC Thunder and thought it was “classic”.

I just stood there like mmm yeah?

well, if he's 14 then he was about 4 when the PS4 was first released, so I can see how thats pretty old. to him.

What I DO hate is when kids these days say we were born "in the late 1900's"

They're not wrong, but they say it as if it was hundreds of years ago during some time long forgotten.
