Massive layoffs at SI after trannies and whales appear on swimsuit edition cover

Boy, it's almost as if they didn't learn from what happens when companies shove woke nonsense in their core customer base's faces.

You’re kinda deflecting from the elephant, or whale if you will, in the room though. It probably could have survived a bit longer if they kept with putting hotties on the cover, but is any magazine doing well anymore? Is the SI brand something people are still interested in?

I don’t think this can be compared to bud light which had a good outlook until they went woke.

Good point, rep-worthy with the whale joke alone, but no - you are right.

Things were going downward. They looked to 'diversify' readership as the answer, in some genius marketing guru's mind: Somehow they could do the body positivity nonsense, get boatloads of new purple haired weirdo readership (who do not exist outside of twitter and even then are broke) all while bullying their current readers into keeping subscriptions 'or else' being guilty of wrong-think.

Which all worked about as well as anyone normal would guess, and here we are with them laying off the entire company.
