Shocked to see this. Never heard of any movie from this genre being so well received by critics.

They misseda HYOOOOOOOGE story beat.

The mechanic who told him about the lever should have told him it was the detonator, when in reality it was the ejection seat.

It would have rounded out the main character because his whole thing was survivers guilt. It would've been a redemption moment for him.and would've been the mechanic forgiving him.
