Do you view late 20s incels and late 30s unmarried,childless men as equally pathetic?

It is a tough one for me, but I would say the incel is slightly more pathetic. What do you think?

Incels by their very definition are involuntarily celibate. There are some bachelors well into their 30's and beyond by choice. You can make the argument that it's pathetic but at least it's by choice.. Incels seem more hopeless so I guess that seems like the worse option.

You make a good point. It only becomes pathetic for the incel if they actually have a choice, on the other hand if it is true what they are claiming, that they do not have a choice, then it is not pathetic (but sad).

I am pushing 50 and not married or have kids. You have to be ****ing delusional to have this as a goal. Even the one couple I knew as the perfect couple, "well at least they are still together", she separated from him last month and is now ****ing Tinder guys.

I'm 40. My closest 4 friends I've known since college got married right out of college. Every single one of the wives gained massive weight after marrying and then especially after having kids. They married them because they were very attractive in their early 20's. They all tell me how unhappy they are in their marriage. I'll take being a childless incel any day over being married to some whale and having kids (never had a desire to have them)

I think its normal if you've done well in your 30's and actually have alot to lose to be ultra discerning on someone you're vetting for a marriage/children. You can ruin your life, if you're a 20 y/o incel you never had anthing to risk.
