Reminds me of a test done. A bunch of younger guys were lined up to be chosen by younger females. Information on the guys was given. the tall guys were always chosen first. So the researchers decided to make the shorter guys more appealing, giving them more prestigious jobs, increasing their wealth sometimes into the multi millions. Still even then the tall dudes tended to be picked first. Eventually they could get the short guys chosen by over exaggerating their qualities and net worth.

I've noticed that the older females get the less important a guys height seems to be. At least in my parents neighborhood some shorter guys are married to females taller than them.
