LANDOVER HILLS, Md. — A woman is now in custody in connection to five random attacks in Prince George's County. These attacks include two stabbings and four hit-and-runs.

Police have not identified the woman nor have they said how she was taken into custody.

On Thursday, just before 8:15 p.m., police tweeted out a photo of a person of interest they believe to be connected a crime spree throughout Prince George's County Thursday night. Here's how it all unfolded:

At 5:05 p.m. officers were dispatched to the Forest Park Drive and Ritchie Road in Capitol Heights for reports of a pedestrian struck. Preliminary reports reveal that the driver of the car went up the sidewalk and struck the victim. The victim has not been identified, but police say she is an adult woman, who suffered minor injuries.

At 5:15 p.m. officers were called to 20 Ritchie Road in Landover, Maryland for two pedestrians struck. Similar to the crash in Capitol Heights, the driver got up on the sidewalk and ran over the two pedestrians. In this case, the driver of the car got out and stabbed one of the victims. The stabbing victim was identified as a 15-year-old who suffered critical injuries. The man hit by the vehicle sustained minor injuries.

At 5:30 p.m. officers arrived to the 1400 block of Addison Road South in Capitol Heights for another pedestrian struck. One adult male suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

Minutes later, calls came in for a fifth pedestrian struck along the 1000 block of Addison Road South. The man struck suffered minor injuries.

At 6:35 p.m. police rushed to the 9100 block of Annapolis Road in Lanham for calls of a stabbing at a gas station. When officers arrived, they found a man suffering from multiple stab wounds. He was taken to a nearby hospital with critical injuries.

During a press conference Thursday night, Deputy Chief James McCreary of the Prince George's County Police said the woman in the picture they posted to social media is still being considered a person of interest, not a suspect. Police do not believe the victims knew each other or the suspect.
