I used to think this but my mind has changed since seeing dozens of videos of drivers in Brazil magdumping into car thieves at the drop of a hat.

So all you need to defend yourself in a carjacking is be in the Brazilian mindset where everyone is probably trying to rob you at every second of every day and you'll have a shot of actually defending yourself.

I had a discussion once with a liberal over something related to this. He has a wife and three kids. We were talking about gun control. I asked him if he would keep a gun in his home to protect his family. His answer was absolutely not, that they would just let them take what they wanted and run away. What an idiotic response. I don't think people who would invade your home are going to give a chit about what you want.
