is it worth riding the bicycle? (srs thread)

dont see much progress on the road anymore just by walking. sure, i could get more, but not as much in a much longer time and effort (which i dont have bc life busy with other chit)

if i got a bicycle i would just be cruising right?

if i just hop on the bike for a little while i can make a good chunk of progress and then dismount and keep most of the distance i made without much side effects

right?

If you ride a bike, you can't say you're natty anymore.

I would just blast out the gate for a short period and then decide if you want to cruise or walk the rest of your life since it will give you a good gauge of your response, how you tolerate sides, and whether or not you consider it worthwhile managing owning a bicycle forever or if you're fine just getting it out of your system.

will blasting out of the gate bring on undesirable responses at a higher rate?
what does blasting mean in terms of numbers? 1000 revolutions per minute?

Is it possible to bicycle modestly for a bit and then never cycle again but maintain gains that were made during the initial bicycling experience?

Get a bike that had a small electric motor. You can easily go 60 miles/day and get in good exercise.

It will but in terms of long lasting damage you're probably better off with a short acute effect than using long term low dose of pedaling and then deciding you want off when your body has already gradually accrued cardiovascular and endocrine damage. Especially if you do your cool downs properly after your sprint session.

Also I hate to recommend this website but reddit will probably be your best bet to breadcrumb onto a forum that sells bike and bike accessories.

Yeah people act like you have to do if for life if you start. That's not true at all. Do 250miiles per week(mg) for 12 weeks. See what kinda sides you get. Probably won't be any. You'll make great gains. And you could actually just stop after if you don't like it. No need for pct or any of that bullchit.
