Weird how nobody hasn mentioned Dark Souls 1-3

IMO easily the one of the GOAT trilogies. Even the ''****ty'' installement (DS2) is like a 9/10

Nothing new will have been around long enough for a trilogy because games take much longer to release now.

Unfortunately for you guys bringing up Metroid Prime, while Metroid Prime is the greatest single player campaign of all time, Echoes and Corruption were pure garbage. Especially Echoes. Great sound track and skyboxes, but other than that, a complete throwaway. Therefore it's disqualified as a trilogy. soz bro

Not sure how anyone can say anything other than the Mass Erect trilogy.

You could maybe argue the original God of War trilogy.

Kingdom Hearts (just the main trilogy story)
You could say MGS 1-3 but it feels disingenuous to just pick the first 3 games since that story continues for far more games, same issue with God of War.

bro what a lame excuse. me1 came out in 2007. so we're approaching 20 years now and nothing really matches mass effect, not even dragon age. those games came out in 2-3 years each with dlc as well so thats a crap excuse as well.

New IP's aren't going to have entire trilogies to work off of yet. If you're talking existing IP's with new games added, then toss in Baldur’s Gate 1,2, and 3.
