1 bedroom apartments are starting at $1900/mo....in ghetto areas not near LA at all

and I get it, if something happens in Little Rock, Arkansas It would make sense to say that ordeal is affecting the entire state because Arkansas is so small. However, California is so large and unique from region to region that we can technically be broken up into 3 states, that includes the cost of living. Gas can be as high as $7/gallon in some parts of Los Angeles, but if you go up north (north of sacramento) you can find it as cheap as $3.40/gal, and same applies to housing. California has 3be/2ba houses in decent neighborhoods for under $250k, but noone wants to talk about those places because they're not near the beach or a major city.

Such a bummer whats going on in LA. I want to go to some of my favorite movie theaters there, but I'm questioning whether its worth even visiting anymore.

LMAO. Not lying, where I live I pay a mortgage (not rent) of a measly $710 a month. Small house, like 1200sq ft. but it's been rebuilt from the ground up in 2012 with new electrical, plumbing, lumber, drywall et.al., and a new roof in 2020. By the time TPTB make it so I can't afford to live, 99% of the population would already be on the streets from unaffordable skyrocketing rates and there'd already be full blown civil war by then anyways.
