Honestly, I couldn't give less of a shít about superheroes, but even I have to say that is straight up disrespectful as all hell to do because it's like spitting on a deceased person's memory.

But it's Sweet Baby Inc., so I wouldn't expect a semblance of class from those insects.

Although to their credit, if I had to listen to that Harley Quinn voice for 12 hours, I'd want to blow my brains out, too.

It could have been a great game if Rocksteady went the singleplayer narrative third person action with Suicide Squad. Suicide Squad going after some low level organization. All the members have different abilities....etc. A few of the members die on their way to the missions. You actually feel like a villain. But instead they went in the most mediocre cookie cutter direction

or hell even a Superman game,Justice League game, Batman Beyond game/Deathstroke would have been better but they spent xxx amount of years working on this. Hopefully it fails in sales and we get one of the games I mentioned above.

Honestly would be for the best if all of WB games failed since they are hell bent on making there games "live" "always on".

From all I have seen of this heap, I really don’t know if you could make a worse game if you tried. **** retroactively ruins four of my favorite games. Conroy is dead so now even if the game tanks and they say “hah fooled y’all it wuz alternate reality” it doesn’t even matter

Probably a million ways to make this game cool... at least from a story standpoint. Instead they came up with this inane garbage. Really you can just start and end at the Suicide Squad killing the Justice League. No scenario exists where this could happen.

Loved arkham trilogy but I heard there Is a tribute to honor Kevin conroy. I’ll youtube that cutscene but I’ll pass on playing it.

Doesn't stop it from being a part of the big media machine. There's been plenty of critics and gaming sites trying to praise and promote it regardless.

I haven't been paying attention, but the bigger review sites I've seen seem to think it's very good. Smaller reviewers are trashing it. Somehow it's rated highly on steam, although hardly anyone is playing it.

Not that I've been looking hard either but I haven't seen a single review that was positive. Some are kind of neutral but I have not seen any saying the game is good and should be played.

...Why is this version of the Suicide Squad only three people + one shark guy, and two of them are like avatars of nails on a chalkboard?

Also, the first movie was full blown retarded compared to the sequel, so out ofallthose characters, how is it that they latched onto the annoying künstralian as one of their top four picks? I get that Harley Quinn is popular because of chicks with daddy issues and the animated show that's a bloodycomedyand not even serious, but her voice here and in the movies is a fücking war crime to listen to in just a few clips, so I can't imagine willingly sitting through an entire game of that.

Then there's main excuse I see for the premise behind these asshats most people haven't even heard of before the (failed) movies being able to kill the supposedly most powerful heroes is... because it's called "Kill the Justice League," so there's somerealstrong writing desperately trying to justify the story. Like you said, they could have approached it numerous ways that are actually in line with they're working with, but instead they fell into the usual "end of the known universe, highest of high stakes" trap that all of these franchises continue to do.

But when it comes to actually trying to fight and kill these characters, at least someone like me who isn't familiar or attached to any of this would think of something involving the mainstay villains everyone already knows of, being on the same level and all that. A supervillain, like actual supervillain and not this wishy-washy, edgelordish anti-hero/"not the real bad guys" take, game and antithesis to the Arkham games could work out to be something at least a bit novel.The reality is that you can't relent with the "people" behind these kinds of products and they deserve all the flak they're receiving and more. This is the sort of game that epitomizes the soulless, cash grabbing, live service vapidity trying to encroach on games that warrants being critically brutalized, and even more so when they have parasites like Sweet Baby attached.

Rocksteady had more than enough time to come up withsomethingdecent, they saw the initial backlash, and they continued to do jack shít.

Most of the positivity I've seen boils down to astroturfing, which shouldn't be surprising when we're talking about WB, who would rather invest in creating false glowing impressions than a half-decent product, or fanboys overdosing on copium. Maybe some not-so-harsh mainstream reviewers, but their opinions need to be taken with a mountain of salt no matter what. No matter the case, games like thisdeserveto fail for every reason, but not least of all is for developers and publishers to take the hint that they can piss off to make mobile games instead of trying to transform the rest of the industry into that anti-consumer garbage.
