Oppenheimer and Napoleon were two of the most mind-numbingly boring movies I’ve ever watched in my life.

I had high hopes for both as they’re definitely in my favorite genre

Gotta admit, I kind of agree on Oppenheimer. I read "The Making of the Atomic Bomb" by Richard Rhodes (absolutely phenomenal book), but didn't read the biography the movie was supposedly made from. I've been fascinated with nuclear physics my entire life. And this wasn't like when people say Interstellar sucked where I just assume you're too stupid to understand and appreciate the actual science behind it. Oppenheimer just wasn't the movie I thought it would be. Almost everything in the movie was incredibly accurate, but it was just a slog fest. No need whatsoever for IMAX, bits and pieces of science told in a dumbed down way, it's almost like every half hour or so they threw in some legit interesting stuff and scenes for a minute or so, then went back to trudging along. I've been trying to defend it, but it was just tough to get through.
