High functioning Stoners

What’s deal with high functioning individuals who are habitual users of marijuana? I’m talking high income professionals who’re doing really well in life. Is it their way to cope? Do you look down on them?

I don't know any that are self-made

They skipped the hard part to "success" because their parents gave them a booster pack

Problem with that is, your parents control you until they die

They're brainless and smoke to cope knowing they are worthless

Weed can put you in a flow state if used correctly and with intent. While I'm not a "high income individual" I worked a pretty intense IT job while stoned, and did some of my best work that way SRS.

I don't really care at all I just hate being around people that reek of weed. Although those are probably not the high functioning ones you're referring to.

i smoke a lot and im the hardest working person on this entire forum srs.

theres a reason that i smoke that i wont disclose though..

im ADHD and it helps with that too

In college my gf father owned a transportation business where he delivered medical supplies, including live organs to medical facilities in Little Rock. Had about 100 employees and won the contracts for most of the medical facilities in Little Rock.

His dad actually started the business. Also built a condo in Hot Springs which was passed down with the business.


Generational success.

He was nailing it too. Dude is a legit rockstar. Really good guy too. Humble, definitely not a typical rich person.

He really cared about his employees and more than anything, was so grateful for his success because be was able to help these men provide for their families. That is what he talked about with me.

A few summers in his bad ass boat at the condo, biggest/fastest boat on the lake.

The people there legit sucked lol. Rich snobs.


Anyway, dude was a stoner.

There are so many people out there who don drugs and you really cannot tell.

You want to believe you are smart enough or keen enough, but that is a lie.


His daughter was his only child. I got pretty close with him.

He was going to give that chit to me, but I broke up with her. It was a necessary decision.

the high functioning part comes from supplementing with stims such as coke or caffeine or nicotine or energy drinks or focus med etc.
weed in itself is not suitable for linear wired thinking, its for letting your thoughts wander and come back with something new, it does help to cope with menial tasks but for more strategic thinking or detail oriented work, i think weed is not the best.

for me personally it makes me more easygoing with people but it also comes in my way of pushing harder on more ambitious plans that require some persistence.

However my bills are paid before I wake up. And they will be for the rest of my life.

yea im aware there are outliers when it comes to celebs/athletes

however, i don't for one second believe they just worked harder than everyone else
