That’s not that unbelievable

I think this threads going to bias heavily towards people without loans. Which is kind of unfortunate.

Two degrees zero student loan debt.

I made money in college.

Extremely fortunate person. But also I put in some work.

As expected this thread is trending heavily towards $0. I suspect people with loan debt will be ashamed to admit it, fearing they’ll be ridiculed. That’s dumb though because our generation had college pushed on us by society.. it’s to be expected.

7k from undergrad, $0 for grad. Never expected the government to forgive it and still don't. I manage it fine and will have it taken care of in the next year or two

After grad school I had about $75k in loans. The group I work for paid them off in exchange for me moving to and working at our DC office for 3 years. Student loan free in 2018.

I had a lot of student loans but I picked a major that wasn't useless so I was able to get them paid off.

Two degrees in rapid succession landed me with ~48k, which I paid off entirely in 35 months. Basically ~53k paid overall with interest included.

Taking on debt isn't the worst thing in the world - doing it without the means to effectively and efficiently pay it off is where people falter.

$0, paid it off myself around age 24.

Apparently if you're in your 30s the average student loan debt to have is about $43k as of 2023.
