"blindly obsessed" sure I can agree with that. Most people are too dumb and shouldn't vote srs. But if you think that anybody who pays attention to politics is a bad person is a pretty shallow take. I work in natural gas and seen the policies being put forth by leftists. In Colorado entire counties have voted to ban natural gas and go purely electric. Energy costs went up 10x to the consumers, imagine paying like $800 a month to heat your house with coal lol. Also my company is quietly talking about selling off in Colorado specifically and expanding into red states. I make a good career with natural gas and don't buy into the whole global warming hoax... I don't exactly vote with people who are trying to take away my career brah.

Agreed, if you have a good reason and actually realize what's going on, then you're good.
But most do not, they vote for what is trendy and grabs the headlines. emotions play way too big of a factor, brb vote for this to save the planet, or vote for this to preserve a religious America.
in your case, if people are willing to pay way more to possibly save the environment, then I don't judge them. if they vote for the policies then btch about the cost and move to Texas or something , then its laughable
