Jews dont pay interest on loans from Rocket Mortgage and Quicken Loans

Fun thing I learned today. Apparently it is in the Jewish religion that Jews do interest free loans to other jews. Those 2 above companies are owned by the same Jew. Hence Jews dont have to pay interest on loans from those banks. Also kars 4 Kids gives all the donated cars to jewish children and families despite them being the wealthiest demographic in America. I am noticing

Yep, back in the day, usury was banned by the Pope. But because Jews have no morals, they used to lend money to Christians at crazy interest rates higher than permitted by law while not doing the same to fellow Jews.

No. They share in the profits and the loss but if you repay the loan in full it terminates and ALL profits or losses are retained by the borrower. It’s full on no-cost loans

This. There are Muslim loans that work the same way. Essentially they capitalize the interest so they end up paying the same amount, but it isn't technically interest. The way a lot of them work is the bank buys the house for you, and then sells it to you at an inflated price that includes the amount of interest with a 0% loan.

except it's not the same
you need to put your money into an asset firstly to profit off it...as in, you link your money to the real economy

trade: sale of asset (buy something for $10, then profit by selling for $11)
usury: sale of debt (sale money for profit...loan $10, receive $11)

I can see why a lot of people think it's the same though and it's been debated throughout history

I haven't read this thread or looked too much in to the subject but isn't it more of them structuring the loan differently?

I was on the understanding they will still pay "interest" but it structured differently within the loan to meet rabbi requirements
