Anonymous Wrestler Claims Trips Knew About Vince's Heel Doings

In the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, an anonymous wrestler issued a statement to Dave Meltzer in regards to Triple H’s comments. The wrestler, referred to as one of the “biggest company stars of the modern era” by Meltzer, stated the following…

“He’s the f’n cerebral assassin, best politicking dude in history, literally wormed his way from a green, entry level wrestler into a (still, average wrestler) absolute top of the office, executive, you think he doesn’t pay attention to what’s going on around him? Think he did that without knowing every little thing everywhere in that company? Yet somehow this slipped past his radar?”

“The thing about that place is if TKO starts cleaning house, they’re gonna show up with a bucket and some Lysol, then realize that ****s in the walls, in the floorboards, they’re gonna have to bring out the sledgehammer (because) that **** is gonna turn into a demolition job. Down to the foundation, sledgehammer pun not intended.”

You agree? Any guesses who this wrestler is, or is Dave lying once again as many says he does?

If I were to guess... "Still average wrestler"... sounds like Bret, Ryback, or someone who got the most to gain... ESSA RIOS!

Thought everyone knew about Vince's sexual deviancy. The only difference now is some of the actual details were revealed. Maybe worse than people expected and only brought to light last week because of the TKO, Rock, Netflix, Royal Rumble news. The dust will settle and this will blow over.

It sounds more like Bret Hart to me. With the assessment of him as a wrestler and then ****ting on the whole company.

And Jericho wasn’t in a position to know how green HHH was at the beginning of his WWF career since he was on the indies at the time and struggled adjusting to the WWF style himself.

Yeah, because video tapes of old matches and stories from old vets can't be sourced can they?

It's gotta be someone outside of WWE with an axe to grind. Ambrose sounds right but if it's Meltzer reporting it Tiny Khunt probably paid him $50k to make up the story lmao

As others point out: It's Meltzer, so it's just TK's mouthpiece and not to be taken seriously.

But, were one to do that - I don't think Bret Hart has uttered the word, "dude" once in his entire life.

Even if Jericho had watched old HHH the blue blood tapes for some reason he would have no leg stand on since he wasn’t very good when he started wrestling for the WWF either.

I doubt this will impact Trips's position. He's in an awkward spot because it's his father-in-law, but he has enough good PR and he's not known as a McMahon guy.

He probably knew about a good amount of things. The WWE corporate environment is likely an extension of old school wrestling tradition where abuse was commonplace and nobody helped the victim because of the power dynamics involved and muh dues and traditions.
