Libertarians slowly starting to admit Karl Marx was right

This was on LewRockwell, a hardcore libertarian site.

Starting to finally come to terms with capitalism being a evil system of slavery and exploitation.

Getting the first part, now only to come to terms with the second part.

Just lol @ cuckservatives

Karl Marx said at least one valuable thing. Workers of the world do need to unite, and lose their chains. If our brand of chrony capitalism doesn’t exploit workers, it certainly doesn’t value or respect them. Real pay and benefits for the vast majority of American workers have fallen precipitously over the past several decades.

Huey Long is my political hero for many reasons. He was advocating a thirty hour, even perhaps a twenty hour work week, in the early 1930s. He wanted all workers to be guaranteed a month’s vacation. Thanks to pressure from him, the best part of the New Deal was the 1938 legislation passed that created the forty hour work week, overtime and vacation pay, and opened the door to tangible benefits for lower paid employees in all industries. My grandfather, who died in 1930, was typical of his era. He worked seven days a week, 365 days a year, as a security guard. They let him go home for lunch on Christmas Day. Worked his entire life without going to the beach, or anywhere else. Stricken with cancer, he had to toil until the end because there was no sick leave.

This article says the working class needs to band together to improve their effective wages by eliminating all federal bureaucracies and enforce immigration laws

Opies take: omg he loves marxism!

Might be time to check back into rehab

idk how anyone living in 2024 America thinks unchecked capitalism has been a good thing.

leads to government and corporations being best buddies at the expense of the common people.

governments serve corporations who only want to profit off the people. thats where we are...

Where did I say he loves Marxism? Maybe improve on your reading comprehension?

Lolbertarians hate workers, and endorse lower wages and poverty in the name of the capitalist.

What the author seems to be going through is a slow change in thinking.

Cuck.

The quote wasn't even addressed. The author was endorsing the New Deal.

Lmao

Libertarians are by definition completely incapable of understanding the need for restrictions on freedoms that are a requirement for putting a check on corporations and influential individuals.

They are likely against things such as monopoly laws etc..

So it makes sense they would be completely clueless on the cracks in the realization of a communist system based on Marx philosophies. Like they don’t even understand the need for basic protections against exploitation in a capitalist system they live in.

So it’s logical they wouldn’t seek any understanding on why all the communist systems end up abusing power for an authoritarian govt much like capitalism allows the same expansion of power for successful companies

Gonna rofl at humans when we finally realize a monarchy with a capable and moral ruler is in fact the best form of governance.

I think capable and moral ruler is the most important aspects moreso than the family lineage aspect of monarchy. Although a monarchy would be 100% better than any democracy in the world today. There's a reason much of our history had monarchy rule for long periods of time.

Whatever allows the most capable people to reach the positions they would do best in is the ideal type of society, and our most recent example of this was Nazi Germany.

The only time Karl Marx ever did something right was when his heart decided to stop beating.
"At the core of liberalism is the spoiled child - miserable, as all spoiled children are, unsatisfied,
demanding, ill-disciplined, despotic and useless. Liberalism is a philosophy of sniveling brats."

This is a common misconception. Libertarians, especially full ancaps like lew, are very in favor of providing rules and regulations. Just not from the state. Your point of view is fundamentally the same as people who think being against communist healthcare means you think there should be no healthcare

Yea, you want the monopolist to provide rules and regulations, and that is what we have today. That is neoliberalism, and why we live in a debt ridden economy that only benefits the rentier class, while the middle class dies out.

Also, that is why the article I posted in the OP praised the ND.

Trump actually gave away massive amounts of printed money, while production stopped on his watch.

I'm wondering what you guys actually consider him? A free market libertarian.
