RIP Sony

With Microsoft bowing out, we're left with two console makers in the market. The other doesn't give a chit and just does their own thing.




What's the incentive for Sony to keep making goated exclusives at this point? If anything it'll now be a harder pivot back to gaas so they can keep an ongoing revenue stream.

What's the incentive for Sony to keep improving or doing better if there's not a direct competitor that's keeping them in check.

My goal is to build a $5k PC.

I'm a big Playstation fan, but if Sony goes to ****, so be it. Hopefully by then I'll have fully switch to PC with a mountain of games + the best mods.


The only downside would be stagnation of innovative titles. But aren't there PC developers who can make good games?

AI will be replacing the woke devs so it's just gonna get better from here
