You are going bald so it’s not a good thing that you wanna cling to your hair badly. Cutting your hair short will help with your overall transition to having less and less hair.

Black castor oil if you don't mind the greasy feel every once in a while (put it on at night and wear a cap). Also watch what you use to wash your hair with, then come back in a few months with results.

May as well be bald. Once you hit nw2.5 or so, there's no smv difference between being bald and keeping the hair, unless you have a bad skull shape.
