Weird food combinations you enjoy

We had an audit at work and they ordered pizza for my department for lunch. One of the managers goes to his office and gets his personal bottle of ranch dressing (lol) and slathers it on his meat lover's pizza. Sick bastard, imo. Then we had a conversation about whether or not it's acceptable to put ketchup on eggs.

it got me thinking about my own habits. Sometimes I'll put ketchup on a Costco flank steak but outside of that I don't go for the weird mayonnaise on chicken tenders or maple syrup on egg salad or anything like what I hear.

Do you have any? I'm curious if there are any worth trying

That actually might be decent. Id imagine the acid from the jarred olives would go well with peanut butter, srs. I'll try it someday and update this thread

Not at all a weird combination. That said, spicy brown mustard is better.

Pizza and Ranch isn't weird or rare (srs)

Different variations of pizzas with ranch included as a topping and/or replacement for the traditional sauce exist everywhere.

Ranch as a dipping sauce at pizza takeout places is literally everywhere.

Go online to whichever pizza place you are most likely to get quick takeout from and 'cup of ranch' or 'side of ranch' is 99.99999999% likely to be an option as you're ordering.

I don't personally partake in ranch on (most) pizzas, but if you think it's weird it's only because you don't get pizza with people ever. Go out for pizza with a group of 4+ people and I guarantee at least one will make sure some ranch comes to the table, and one other will probably utilize it too.

I only do ranch on chain pizza like Dominos or Pizza hut. I usually don't use it on local spots.

Or I'll save the crust for last and dip it in ranch.

I never said it was rare, I said it was nasty. I'm not sure whytf you typed all that out like you're offended I said it sounds like a chit food combination. Which it does sound like a **** combination.

From the pizza places I've been to ranch dressing comes with wings, not the pizza.

Best mashed potatoes ever, everybody says they like them until I tell them how I make them and they're like wtff. As you're mashing them add salt butter and black peppercorn (obvious) but then I'll add English mustard, mozerella, horseradish and a raw whole egg plus another egg yolk. **** fukkin slaps with a roast boyyos srs.

I think its a California thing, but all pizza chains out here offer ranch dressing with pizza. Its pretty damn good. Hell, you can even ask for ranch as the "pizza sauce"

and as for eggs, I only put ketchup on scrambled eggs, but its oddly kinda gross on hard boiled eggs. I don't know why.

For me, its hard to mess up a potato dish. I'll eat anything made from potatoes, so I'll definitely have to give this a try. The normal way to make it (salt butter/milk) has gotten boring.

Maybe not a “weird” food combination but 5% fat Greek yogurt is an amazing base to a ton of sauces. Try it with sriracha for example, really solid spicy sauce that’s very healthy and doesn’t make foods heavier. I also made a great tartar sauce with it for a salmon “burger” the other day.

The ranch on pizza combo I'm pretty sure is a muckbang thing. I never heard of it until I stumbled across videos of people eating on camera. Your manager watches muckbangs.

I like saltines and jelly.

Nope, you're mistaken. I've been seeing people slather ranch on pizza since the early 2010's. The usual cope is that "it masks bad pizza". When in reality, all they did was make a cheap pizza even grosser.
