Bret Now Have 0 Respect for Vince, Compared Him to Epstein, Weinstein, Dahmer.

While speaking with Slate.com, WWE Hall of Famer Bret Hart addressed the Vince McMahon sex trafficking allegations. Here are a few quotes from the article…

“I don’t think this is the only incident of this kind of predatory behavior. I think you’ll find that it’s everywhere in [WWE].”

“It’s like Jeffrey Dahmer, Harvey Weinstein, or Jeffrey Epstein: Vince will be a joke,. He’ll be used for humor, and you’ll shake your head at the shock value of some joke about, ‘What did Vince McMahon do?’ He’ll always be associated with this story, especially as it gets bigger and bigger and bigger.”

“I always had a respect for him. Now it’s tainted. I’m embarrassed that I thought so highly of him.”

“I think, despite all of the issues I ever had with Vince, I know, deep down, I always respected him; but now, knowing what kind of a weirdo he became, I have absolutely zero respect for him. I do not think I could ever shake his hand if he extended it. Too creepy.”

Yunno folks, I think Bret hart has secretly hated him all along. Even after they did business again. Guaranteed he is reveling in his downfall right now. Vince is screwed now and it is better than he ever hoped for as far as he’s concerned.

I remember when Bret vs Shawn docu was just released in 2011(damn, 13 years ago already?!)... Jimbob said you can see Bret never forgave Shawn despite their truce/forgiveness to each other. That he was looking at Shawn with disdain the whole time lol.

Bret should say "Vince screwed Vince".

Lold at ever thinking highly of Vince from a morals perspective. He’s always been a POS in that regard…I mean, from the very beginning he broke a promise to his dad who was only handing the keys over to him because the father had terminal cancer and with only one stipulation…which again Vince immediately broke. Of course he’s a terrible person in a LOT of ways. And Bret had to know and see firsthand how Vince treated people. I’d say Hart always disliked him, and especially after he himself was on the receiving end of Vince’s *******ry. It’s just that now he can play it from a “holier than thou” perspective so it seems like he didn’t know about the terrible things when they worked together(which it wouldn’t been almost impossible to NOT know to at least some extent).

And I say that as someone who probably likes Bret more than most.

I mean, who can not claim to be holier than thou when it comes to sex trafficking, scat, rape, kidnapping, etc? Compared to that, every poster in this section other than MOL is basically a saint.
All truth passes through three stages. First, it is ridiculed. Second, it is violently opposed. Third, it is accepted as being self-evident.

Watched some of the DiBiase pods recently & when the interviewer asked him about the 1992 ring boy/sex scandals he said it was the first he heard of it. Seems like he is going a bit senile, but there is no way you couldn't be in WWF in 1992 & not be aware that Vince was on/all over Entertainment Tonight, Larry King, Donahue, Geraldo, all the newspapers & that Patterson, Garvin & Phillips were suddenly gone.

I get the feeling Vince was somewhat okay when he and Bret were working together in the '80s and '90s. The rapey scat **** probably didn't start until Vince got so rich he lost his sense of reality.

And Bret knows the old school power dynamics of pro wrestling. You kept your mouth shut. You did what you were told. The industry was rife with abuse.

gotta pay those dues bruh. Not gonn zuk itself.

Feds should knock on Bret’s door if he’s suggesting he had reason to know about this stuff. Shame on him for not protecting victims!

Call me old fashioned, but name dropping Vince’s name in the same bucket as a dude like Dahmer with 15+ convictions of murder—some involving necrophelia and cannibalism—isn’t exactly apples to apples. Wouldn’t expect this tired, bitchy ass, aging lesbian looking mother fuker Bret to be more thoughtful though in that regard before spouting out.

Say what you want the Hitman is the best there was, the best there is and the best there ever will be, him vs Bulldog at SummerSlam 1992 in front of record 80,000+ people is the best match of all times, then the SummerSlam 1994 cage match with Owen, the WM 12 Iron Man match with Shawn, the match with Taker SummerSlam 1997 and all, he carried WWF in its darkest phase and WWF only succeeded in Attitude Era cause of copying ECW and the edgy product and Bret's screwjob gave rise to evil McMahone, in ring skill wise Bret is unmatched!

Bret carried the WWF during the New Generation. He also put stone cold on the map. Taking him from mid card to main event in their rivalry.

Yeah Austin vs Hart Wm 13 singlehandedly started the attitude era (ppl will always argue over the date, KOTR 1996, the time when Austin stunned Vince first time for got the episode, montreal screwjob at survivor series 97, but Austin vs Hart WM 13 was a game changer, tho personally hart vs Bulldog SummerSlam 92 is my all time most fav match).

Bret whined about Hogan, then was friendly to him in WCW, then whined about Hogan after he left.

he did the same with goldberg.

look it up. years after the mistake kick bret was friendly to goldberg, forgave him, took photos with him. buried the hatchet entirely. it wasn't until Bill got back in the ring that Hart completely turned heel on him and told everybody who would listen that Bill was the single reason he had to retire. he was probably telling cashiers that story at stop and shop.

You completely missed the point. Point being, his dad had terminal cancer and handed over the keys to Vince with one stipulation- that he honored the system in place and respect territories. Vince agreed, got what he wanted, and immediately reneged on his promise to his father. I mean, he couldn’t even wait for his father to pass before spitting in his face and breaking his promise. That’s not “business”, that’s called being a terrible person.
