A funny story happened today so I thought I would share it. I was at a Mercedes store that’s been my customer since 2020.. they got a new used car manager about 6 months ago and when I met him he told me he had a guy he used to use at his old store.. and he bragged to me how good he was. (Windshield chip repair).

I didn’t give two fuks because he kept using me to do his cars. Anyways today I went in there and he had me do 3 cars on his lot but he was gonna have “his guy” come and do a G wagon that was is the showroom. The guy drove 40 minutes to get there and showed up while I was there. It was an old man driving a blazer.

He sees me fixing 3 cars and I can tell he was pissed… imagine driving almost an hour to get somewhere to find out you’re only fixing 1 of 4 cars. How embarrassing… anyways I had seen the G wagon before he fixed it.. the chip was right in the line of sight and it was about the size of a fingernail. I went and looked at it when it was done and he had caused it to spread over 2 inches.. meaning the windshield was gonna have to be replaced.

How embarrassing

What’s even funnier is I saw him set a bill for the car on the guys desk.. he literally cracked out the windshield (which is now gonna cost around 2 grand to replace) and still billed him for it.

What was I gonna do, not charge him for it? Horsechit I drove down for a single fuking gwagon while some youngster with his thumb up his bum gets 3
