Super excited and can’t wait but will wait till end of winter. 20-30 calves is like 30k at the market

I have a buddy who is a farmer all his life. he has a small place of about 600 acres.

he has cows. he needs about 1/2 the farm just to grow grain to feed the cows. So basically an entire farm just for them. Even at that he needs to buy more feed as thats not enough to feed them all.

its a hell of a lot of work. Like having gigantic 3 year olds.
