Do you all do something special for every parents birthday?

Moms birthday but i’m always feeling pressure on doing something special besides taking her out to eat which i feel is very generic.

What y’all do for your parents birthdays?

both parents are early 80's either bbq or dinner.
then slip them an envelope with some cash because they don't need anything.

I always take my mom out to dinner for her bday and give her a gift card. I don't expect anything big from my son. I'm happy with a card and maybe breakfast or lunch out. Not anything expensive.
