Why isn’t Pat McAfee used as a heel commentator?
Guy is insufferable and easy to hate enough as is. Is the late 30s frat boy routine “in”? Seems like a natural heel if flipping him. Assume it’s because the E doesn’t want to ruin a good thing nor do they have leverage over his ESPN gig? Cole has been packing it in for years, now he gets to pack it in even more with a yes man color guy. How about making it interesting. Go back to the days of the heel color and face play by play to make it make sense. Gorilla and Brain exchanged farts that were more entertaining than these fuking jokers on Raw these days.

He doesn't need to be a heel. His "edgy" commentating speaking what's on his mind in a "non scripted" way is enough. He def brings the lulz.
Didn't you hear his commentating Truth vs JD on RAW?
"Truth is 52 yrs old and can still do incredible things in the ring. I'm 36 and pulled muscle taking a dump last week".
There is no other WWE commentator that would say that. His material is gold.

Cole and McAfee are a great combo. They don't need a dynamic change as of now.
If they really want to bring in a heel, they could add Bad News Barret.
