It's a waste of time. The people with power, will never give up that power willingly. They will destroy america because that's what they want. They're rich, they won't be affected by the outcome. The politicians and Unseen Hand know that they will be the elite upper class, and they will be fine.

America's politicians sold the country long ago. Not by any one politician, but by generations of them. By a culture, like a poison, that spread through America. A poison that created greedy, selfish leaders, all of them finding new ways to take advantage of their countrymen... most of them aspiring emperors.

The lessons taught by Adam Smith, a distant memory, perverted and corrupted... the natural selfish interest of the everyman warped and disfigured into "Greed Is God". A nation cannot survive with people such as these. A nation depends on the sacrifice of leaders, of it's people, to provide for something greater than themselves. To plant trees today, so that someone else can benefit from it's shade tomorrow. That's what leaders do, self sacrifice, for the things they care about. But that's not what our leaders are doing anymore. America, speaking about the majority, no longer produces these types of people to Government (repeat, majority). We produce politicians that practice hedonism, greed, corruption, excess materialism. America had a chance to avoid the same fate of the empire which inspired it... but it hasn't.
