It won't collapse...but it won't be as good...seems like HHH will carry it forward...and so far he is doing a good job...and I am sure he will groom a few more people to carry the company...

No, Vince has always been pretty clueless if you look back. He surrounded himself with smart people that kept his excesses to the minimum-he really is like Russo for the most part. Vince's strength was always marketing & the big picture of global expansion & not creative-that was guys like Patterson, Brisco, Dillon, Cornette, HHH etc.

Vince was the guy who messed up pretty much every guy that became a star in JCP/WCW due to his ego-Vader, Giant, Sting, Goldberg etc. I cannot say he messed up Flair from 1991-1993, but it certainly wasn't what it should have been. He refused to listen to everybody telling him that white meat babyface Rocky Maivia wasn't working & needed to be changed-despite the crowd calling for him to die for months-until the summer of 1997, all the stupid gimmicks, the toilet humour etc.

Can anybody honestly look back at the last 15-20 odd years of WWE television & say they think he has been a creative genius? He made it totally unwatchable for me the last decade plus, after years of it getting progressively worse from around 2004/2005.

correct and the notion of "writing for an audience of one" that's been discussed a lot about their creative team is an example of it. you have all these writers on the staff all year round yet their only purpose is to get YOU to approve of the show, regardless of what actually works or doesn't work. that isn't really a healthy environment for creativity.

You touched on this a bit but Vince's 'genius' was looking out at the world and making massive moves with the company. Expansion, acquisitions, partnerships. Although a lot of top talent say he's still got that Midas touch where he can watch a guy do his thing in the ring and afterward say "next time out there.... try THIS" and it works.
He should've stopped trying to cook everything years ago and instead just add a little seasoning before the dinner's served to make it perfect

the dallas cowboys are kinda in this scenario with their owner. great promoter, fun guy, invests a ton of money into the team but ultimately the decisions around the players are better off made when he's not in the room

last bit - OP's question - no, Nick Kahn is way too sharp to let anything happen where the company collapses. Even with this scandal going on.

Creative is subjective, dollars and cents are not. They wouldn’t have reached the level of dollars and cents without Vince. Folks love confusing creative well being of wrestling with financial well being.

Anyways, company will be fine.
