Ever had gym equipment break on you?

Pretty embarrassing thing happened today.
Was doing single arm seated cable rows. Not a massive weight but enough for 4x8. On about the 3rd rep the fabric loop which goes through the metal D rings completely snapped sending me flying backwards off the seat lols. No injury, just got up and got a different one. Would suck if a benchpress barbell hook snapped or something though.

Nope, but I had lose screws on the security levers on the leg press. Not a great feeling.

Yeah my current gym has a leg extension/leg curl machine where the pin that holds the leg pad in place keeps popping out on its own, somehow.

I once used a lat pulldown and the bottom pulley wasn't fastened properly. Pulley comes loose, goes flying up, weights come crashing down.

It's what happens when gyms go cheap with equipment

The cable row was maxing it out and the cheap ass handle snapped

I should have sued them
