My guess on the 4 games:
-Hifi Rush
-Pentiment
-Sea of Thieves
-Grounded
But that will just be the start. And it’s the beginning of their transition to stop making consoles and just be a publisher

but I never cared if they brought games to PS or not I just wanted to know they will still continue with the Xbox-line and at least that seemed to be confirmed with a couple of sentences
so that's good enough for me

It's funny these losers ponies were craving Xbox games to come to their platform, a platform which confirmed by the CEO is getting ZERO new first party until mid 2025 lmfao.
Not only are Xbox games remaining under Xbox, GamePass day 1 remains, diablo 4 is coming to GamePass soon and GamePass now has 34 MILLION subs.
A laughable attempt by the usual suspects here to dog pile on Xbox, the most inclusive platform in gaming.
Cross play, cross save and play anywhere with the added functionality of xcloud makes Xbox the only gaming ecosystem worth investing in.
And did I mention backwards compatibility is on the cards for ABK titles with enhancements ?
And Phil confirmed that our digital libraries are safe. Can't say the same for Sony or Nintendo. How are your PS3 games going ? Laughable.
All in all, a victory for Microsoft. Never listen to fake "influencers" again guys, especially when they are clearly Sony fanboys. Pathetic.

I just find it amazing how anyone is still a part of that scene, it's why gaming social media has become so intolerable and awful. Sonycels dominate the whole forum warrior/influencer scene and basically got all the influence on gaming sites as well. It's led to everything becoming such highly biased clickbait, any audience they got is simply being trolled by these losers.

Like most popular scenes you just gotta focus on your niche. As someone who is into driving games and racing sims I am well aware of how that's it's own subculture with passionate fans. Sure, on the big generalized gaming section on Reddit you would be hard pressed to find anyone giving a chit about those games, but go somewhere focused on them and you will meet all sorts of people who are passionate for the same thing. Sorta like how if you're into metal you would want to avoid all the big popular music spots and focus on the communities full of metalheads. The popular masses scene would be full of people like Taylor Swift and their fanbase.

Someone refresh my memory here, but how long as it been since the rumors started churning?
It seems really odd and kind of dumb to leave all of that bad air out there to breathe, then come out with a vague22 minutelong podcast with canned questions just to basically say that Microsoft currently has no plans to sacrifice Xbox to a volcano.
At least get Phil Spencer on Joe Rogan for glaze-off and Joe can ask Phil if he's ever done DMT while playing Kinect Sports to travel into Banjo-Kazooie's backpack with the Master Chief to save Princess Peach if all they have to say is four games going multiplatform.
I'm with you on this being just the beginning, too, andPhil says as much:
Microsoft has been failing to move the needle with Xbox hardware while Game Pass subscriptions have plateaued, yet the costs to make games are no different than their competitors. They're reaching a juncture where it's becoming far less feasible to maintain output of the core product, the games/software side, without reaching new customers some way.
The best point of comparison I've seen has been Sony's initial reluctance towards multiplatform releases, but now they're seeing just how successful it is and the return on investment is probably becoming harder to ignore with the growing costs they have to bear.
They should be talking about a Gears of War trilogy remaster at the very least, not have ongoing talk about how there are considerations to make Gears of War multiplatform because they're in such dire straits. They're not going out of their way to stomp out any of these "rumors," either, which really fits in with Xbox's historic ability to torpëdo their messaging since the Xbone.

I'm with you on this being just the beginning, too, andPhil says as much:
Spencer confirms that Starfield and Indiana Jones are not part of the first four games, but he doesn’t rule out the possibility for these titles to arrive on PS5 in the future. “I don’t think we should as an industry ever rule out a game going to any other platform,” says Spencer in an interview with The Verge. “We’re focused on these four games and learning from the experience. We don’t have work going on, on other franchises. But for anybody to stand up and say something’s never going to happen, I think it feels like creating more certainty in a world of gaming where you really want to respond to what customers want and what our players and creators are looking for.”
So, not every Xbox game is suddenly going to appear on rival consoles, but Microsoft is clearly considering the potential for more in the future. I asked Spencer whether there will be more multiplatform games, especially if these four are successful:
|Yeah, but we haven’t seen that yet. We’re obviously one of the biggest publishers on PlayStation and Nintendo today, when you think about the Activision Blizzard and Bethesda lineup of games. So we know what it means to ship games on Steam, PlayStation, Nintendo, and Xbox.
These are games that originally launched on Xbox. They were Xbox-branded games and we want to see what happens, because going and doing the development work to bring them to new platforms is real work. We want to make sure that the return makes sense. We want to make sure the audience that’s there has an appetite, maybe they don’t.|
I understand that Microsoft has also previously been weighing up the idea of bringing Gears of War, Microsoft Flight Simulator, and even the next Doom game to rival platforms. Final decisions haven’t been made on these other games, but there’s bound to be more than just four. As this strategy evolves, it’s clear there will be some interesting decisions being made about the future of Xbox games and exclusivity.
All of this comes suspiciously soon after both the Activison-Blizzard deal went through and Microsoft's last big shot, Starfield, failing to make the waves they were hoping for to help cushion these reasoning behind these expensive acquisitions. Phil's phrasing definitely reinforces Microsoft continuing to treat both Bethseda and Activision/Blizzard as a multiplatform publisher far more now than before, but this refocus does make the most financial sense. So, not every Xbox game is suddenly going to appear on rival consoles, but Microsoft is clearly considering the potential for more in the future. Surely they have to know that people don't trust them worth a damn after how many times they've repeated the whole "we're listening and we hear you," "this is the year of Xbox," "Xbox is stronger than ever," and every other Spencerism.
