The fact FF7 Remake Part 2 will likely Goty is depressing lol

Last year was a much better year for games in which FF7 remake part 2 which is a remake of a 1/3 of a game from 20 years ago, that it's not as good as, would just have been a blip on the radar.

Yet this year it will likely win Goty because there's literally no competition.

The step down from Baldurs Gate 3 to FF7 remake part 2 is lulzy AF

This I think Avowed has the potential to enter top 3 at least. Obsidian entertainment and a modern medieval RPG, yes please.

Dragon's Dogma 2, Black Myth: Wukong, Stalker 2...

I wanted to mention Crimson Desert as a potential good game too, but it was delayed to 2025.

Point is there's some games that should at least enter the radar for highlights of 2024.

It's okay to admit that JRPGs aren't your type of game.

I couldn't get into RDR2 or even Elden Ring. And those are widely acclaimed.

I grew up loving final Fantasy since FF4 on snes so I'm hyped as fck. And I loved Remake in 2020.
