Has someone ever challenged you in the gym?

Has someone ever come up to you a demanded a lift for an exercise?

Wondering how that would fly. “I challenge you to a bench competition!”

No. Most people at my gym just show up, work out, and then go home like normal people.

#1 thing people approach me about is routine, supplementation, etc

Never in 20+ years has anyone ever challenged me, but honestly I would thoroughly enjoy some competition like that

by many, this kind of challenge would be considered a bad taste.

Not like that. A long time ago a dude who knew I had strong legs convinced me to do heavy leg presses with him because he'd seen me do them and thought I went too light. It wasn't a competition, more "let's show these weak fhaggots what we've got." I think he wanted people to stare at us for going so heavy. Well it worked.
Yeah Buddyyy! Light weight! Light weight baby!!!!

Men discreetly and passive aggressively compete with eachother all the time in the gym. Usually as a result of getting mogged in some way.
