Girls basketball team quits at half time after trans player injures 3 players

"Once the third was injured, the remaining five expressed concern to him about continuing to play."

A Massachusetts charter school ended a girls’ varsity basketball game at halftime on February 8 after multiple players were injured by a trans-identified male on the opposing team.

"Once the third was injured, the remaining five expressed concern to him about continuing to play. The players feared getting injured and not being able to compete in the playoffs."

The school wrote that it "supports this decision and reiterates its values of both inclusivity and safety for all students."

"We take the standards set by the MIAA and our Board of Trustees seriously and strive to uphold them on and off the court. We also follow the guidance from the MIAA and state laws regarding equity and access for all student-athletes."

One video of the game showed the biological male player, standing taller than the female players, ripping the ball out of a female Collegiate Charter School of Lowell player’s hands. She was seen clutching her back while she laid on the ground, grimacing in pain as team members surrounded her.

According to the ItemLive, KIPP led at halftime 31-14. The trans-identified male player is reportedly over 6 feet tall, and has facial hair.

"A student shall not be excluded from participation on a gender-specific sports team that is consistent with the student’s bona fide gender identity," the handbook adds.

First of all, that guy should be absolutely ashamed he's playing against women. And honestly the coach should be able to say nope, not going to happen on my team even if the guy wants to do it.

Second, good for them walking off the court. Every single team who has to play against a man should do the same thing.

The only person that should be ashamed is the father of the injured girl. That said, I'll hold off on judgment as he might be a very patient person like myself and wait months before taking appropriate action, in order to not get arrested.

If that man doesn't have a caved in skull and broken legs in the next 9-12 months, then yes the father is a POS.

You anger is misplaced. The system that allows this, that has made it impossible to safely speak out against, there is the problem. My first instinct was to direct it at the coach of the team w/ the tranny, but I thought about it, they are just as handcuffed by this as anyone else. If they had refused to coach the tranny, I'm sure they'd be out of a job or worse. Then the tranny who did this, that's just a mentally unwell pawn in this game. I watched and it just played like a normal, aggressive, man. Not intentionally out to do harm or malice, just someone who should not have been there in the first place.
