solitary confinement is hell on earth

I don't know how inmates go years and years stuck in a small cell with nothing.

What else are they going to do?

I guess over time they adapt and get used to it.

One thing is for sure though, when they are released they are emotionally not the same person.

Werent you free to go out?

Try doing jail time seeing only a giant wall around you everywhere you go. Could only go from one building to the other. This was during covid aswell so gym closed & not a single visit.
