Does anybody really care about these sanctions?

Seems like nothing more than an inconvenience to whoever is on the recieving end. Iran has been under sanction for like 20 years yet is still putting satellites in space and supposedly has the ability to produce nukes whenever they want.

Yeah some people are trying to get their Russian relatives over to the US and it makes it almost impossible when the embassy in Moscow isn't processing visas and Poland is the only place that processes them but they won't let Russians in...

There are only a few places still processing tourist visas but they are very far away and hard to get to. The further down on Joe's sh*t list Russsia gets the harder this all becomes.

Better yet, what's the pretense for more sanctions? All they do is make people of a given country poorer, some US sanctions end up causing a lot of death.
