I just finished watching NCIS S13 Ep24 "Family First", the very special agent Anthony DiNozzo finally left the show for good to raise Tali, the daughter of Tony and Ziva.

This expression in his last monologue got me curious.

Your reply helped me a great deal because what I wanted to know is how differently each person uses the words/expressions based on each of their own experiences and background.

I always believe that languages define something personal found deep in speakers, not universal.
